The goal of the story comments at dailyjournalonline.com is to have a community forum for the thoughts of our readers. We strive to make sure this is an open, thought-provoking yet polite debate on the issues.
All comments are moderated to ensure personal attacks, racially-insensitive statements and unsubstantiated allegations are not included in the debate. Because posts are moderated, it may take several hours for the comments to appear on the site.
When commenting on crime-related stories, remember that suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We will not post comments implying the guilt of any specific suspect who has not been convicted of the crime in question.
We do not edit comments. They are either approved or deleted, so please follow the story guidelines.
